Mills Performing Artist-in-Residence Program
The Mills Performing Artist-in-Residence (Mills PAIR) Program is designed to promote action and exchange in the performing arts. We provide space and performance opportunities to artists whose work aligns with the values of the Mills College at Northeastern University community and represents the abundant cultural, racial, gender, and economic diversity of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Through Mills PAIR we invite artists to bring their creative practice into our performing spaces to provide new, exciting opportunities for the development of their work. The residencies are designed to invite Mills College at Northeastern University students, faculty, and staff, along with the wider Bay Area arts community, to learn and work with resident artists through workshops, open rehearsals, and showings. Performing arts residencies culminate in one or more public showings intended to spark curiosity, activism, passion, and debate.
